Talent Africa Group, together with the Talent Africa Foundation hosted yet another remarkable Women’s Day event with partners, Beefeater Gin that brought together Uganda’s most influential ladies ranging from C.E.Os to socialites, media personnel, Celebrities, fashion designers, musicians, and esteemed guests to celebrate Women under the theme of inclusion for all. Beefeater, the only premium gin still produced in the heart of London and is the world’s most celebrated gin was in abundance at the event and guests were treated to an open bar of the gin cocktails throughout the night.

The exclusive celebration which commenced at 4:00 pm until late was hosted by Sylvia Alibhai at Talent Africa Group in Kololo, was a resounding success, highlighted by a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring prominent figures such as Flavia Tumusiime, Ellah Nantumbwe, Malaika Nyanzi, Joanita Kawalya, Hellen Lukoma, Whitney Kawalya, Miss Q, Lorna among others on the role of gender inclusivity.

In line with the theme of inclusivity for all, guests who were adorned in a touch of pink, in solidarity and support for women’s rights and empowerment had the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and collectively reaffirm their commitment to protecting the girl child and their rights while enjoying performances by talented female artists like Nansambu Sandra, Tracy Melon, and others.

The star-studded event had very influential ladies in all industries ranging from media personalities, Fashion designers, CEOs, celebrities and so many more.  In attendance was Pia Pounds, Nina Roz, Ava Peace Karole Kasita, Ellah Nantumbwe, Sasha Ferguson, Mami Deb, Hellen Lukoma, Sheebah Karungi, and Anita Beryl among others.

Throughout the evening, guests indulged in a delightful array of Beefeater cocktails and delectable food offerings, while networking and celebrating the achievements of women around the world.  

In the spirit of inclusion, gentlemen were also invited and contributed to the discussion of the role of women in society and how to support them better. Salvador Idringi, who donated a substantial amount to the empowerment of the girl child, Joe Kigozi, the assistant C.E.O of Next Media Group, The Myth, Douglas Lwanga, Atlas and others were in attendance. 

The highlight of the night was the recognizing and appreciation ceremony of ladies who have stood out in their different sectors amidst cheer, celebration and exchange of gifts of appreciation, courtesy of Beefeater Gin and Tonic.

The Talent Africa Women’s Day event, supported by Beefeater Gin and the Talent Africa Foundation, has become an event to look forward to on the social calendar in Uganda.
