THE MTN EXPO
MTN UGANDA EXPO celebrated 20 years of service with a 4 day EXPO and Talent Africa Group was the official Event Management Company. MTN Uganda has grown in both service delivery and partnerships fueled by innovation, ingenuity and strong leadership.
The brief was for all the above to be imbued in the experience by those attending the Expo. We conceptualized and designed the experience from start to finish taking attendees on a journey through the time capsule that was 20 years of MTN Uganda.
The exhibitor space featured cutting edge innovations in technology, Agri-tech and e-commerce from MTN Uganda’s business partners. The floor plan and visual displays made walking through this space an appealing experience.
We introduced for the first time in Uganda, a purely cashless event experience. Attendees of the MTN EXPO topped cash on wrist bands which would be scanned and debited when purchasing food or drink from the food court.
We incorporated lazer light shows and 3D Projection mapping in our production. Coupled with the entertainment, the MTN Expo was huge success with fluid gate management and security.
The EXPO’s country wide tour was also managed by Talent Africa Group.
PEARL OF AFRICA TOURISM EXPO
The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) is an annual tourism event in the East African region organized by the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB). It brings together travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, destination managers and other service providers in the tourism business.
POATE is a unique opportunity for tourism businesses to meet new clients, network, and market their services and products.
Talent Africa Group was the preferred event management partner of the 4th edition. We provided an all-round service from the event brand and design, vendor sourcing and management, floor design and production to the grand finale dinner at the prestigious Kampala Serena Hotel.
We employed our digital prowess to document and share daily content from the expo that showcased the tourism businesses exhibiting and opportunities thereto framed with articulation in the messaging.
